Lecture "The Situation in North Korea and Current Issues of Security Policy in Northeast Asia"

Following a speech of Johannes Pflug (Member of the German Bundestag), a discussion with the participants of the event on the situation in North Korea and the perspectives of a security policy for northeast asia was held.

 

For over 10 years Johannes Pflug observed the developments in North Korea and recently visited the country for the seventh time. In this presentation he analyzes – with reference to his recent journey to North Korea – the development of the country over the last years and considers possible perspectives for future development in North Korea and the Korean Peninsula. Following his speech, a discussion with the participants of the event on the situation in North Korea and the perspectives of a security policy for northeast asia will be held.
