Public seminar "Future of Social Democracy – from the perspective of modern political history of Japan"

Recently, the rights for workers are often neglected, the inequality in the society widens more and more, and the spirit of tolerance is in crisis.

Against this background, a re-evaluation of the philosophy of social democracy is required. We invite Prof. Junji Banno, an accomplished scholar in modern Japanese history, as lecturer to this seminar, to look back on the history and reconsider the philosophy of social democracy.
