For over 10 years Johannes Pflug observed the developments in North Korea and recently visited the country for the seventh time. In this presentation he analyzes – with reference to his recent journey to North Korea – the development of the country over the last years and considers possible perspectives for future development in North Korea and the Korean Peninsula. Following his speech, a discussion with the participants of the event on the situation in North Korea and the perspectives of a security policy for northeast asia will be held.
