デジタル化と人工知能（AI）は、法律家の職務に、また司法制度自体にも根本的な影響を及ぼす可能性があります。本シンポジウムでは、AIテクノロジーによって法律業務にもたらされるチャンスやリスクについて、日本とドイツの専門家が議論します。
日本とドイツはデジタル化の進行と人工知能の分野の発展により、司法、行政、経済、研究において同様に大きな社会的、政治的課題に直面しています。本シンポジウムでは驚異的な速さで進む人工知能分野の発展が生み出す新たな可能性が法治国家にとってリスク、あるいはチャンスとなるのか、そしてこれが裁判官、弁護士、研究者、経済法学者の業務にどのような影響を及ぼすのかを考察します。本シンポジウムでは傑れた講演者の方々と共に日独の法を比較しながら、相互に持続可能な解決方法を見出す交流の場を設けたいと考えております。
