気候危機が急速に悪化する中、法律がこのグローバルな課題にどのように対処できるかが問われています。このシンポジウムでは、日本とドイツの法律学の視点から、気候変動に対する法的対応とその挑戦について深く探求します。
本シンポジウムは、現在直面している気候危機に法律学がどのように貢献すべきかを、ドイツの法律学との交流の中で議論し、政策提言へと繋げる足掛かりを得ようとするものです。具体的には、ドイツ連邦司法省の気候保護に対する法的対応についての基調報告を皮切りに、国連気候変動枠組み条約等の国際法のレベルでの取り組み状況とその国内法への実現、私法・経済法の分野における環境デュー・ディリジェンス規制、刑法分野における議論動向等につき、日独の法学者がそれぞれ問題を提起し議論をします。
