Delegation of the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung visits Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Tokyo Office

On 10 September 2025, a group of twelve scholarship students from the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung visited the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Tokyo Office to discuss current Japanese politics.

Sven Saaler, FES Representative, gave a briefing on Japan's political system and recent trends. During the following Q&A session, participants engaged in a lively exchange, discussing the recent elections, the ongoing search for a new prime minister, social issues such as inflation, stagnating wages, and gender equality.
